She Did Everything Right. So Why Wasn’t She Healing?

"I didn't even realize how much anger I was carrying..."

That's what one of my Overcomers shared with me recently.

Melissa is a hospice nurse. For years, she absorbed her patients' fear and emotional energy without even knowing it.

She had been doing Dr. Joe's work for almost a year. Attended two of his retreats - both incredible experiences.

But when she came home?

She found it difficult to maintain those elevated emotions throughout the day.

The high would fade. The old patterns would creep back in.

Here's what shifted everything for her:

She stopped doing this work alone.

Through our program, Melissa uncovered anger she didn't even know was there. Anger that had been quietly dictating her life, holding power over her because she was so unconscious of it.

Through breathwork and staying present with the emotion instead of being consumed by it, she learned something profound:

The anger no longer controls her.

She knows it's already healing.

That level of knowing? That's when everything changes.

For the first time in her life, Melissa can truly feel that she is good enough.

Not just think it. Not just affirm it.

Feel it.

Those old programs that kept her stuck? They're surfacing from the unconscious into her awareness - and she's healing them.

This is what's possible when you stop trying to do this work alone.

When you have support. When you have community. When someone helps you see the blind spots you can't see on your own.

It's not your fault.

You're not doing it wrong.
