✨ Awareness Doesn’t Always Erase the Pull of Our Old Patterns...

I’ve known for most of my life that I craved male attention because it gave me that dopamine hit my body was used to. But over and over, that chase only led me into relationships that weren’t aligned with who I truly am.

Lately, I’ve been giving myself the gift of space - time alone, no man, no outside “fix.” And honestly, it’s been freeing and exhilarating to just focus on me. 🌸

But here’s the thing: even with all my awareness, I can feel that old pattern creeping back in - like a whisper, tempting me to connect with someone just for the sake of that dopamine rush, even when I know they aren’t aligned with the woman I’ve become.

The difference now? I see it. I can pause. I can choose differently.

Awareness doesn’t always remove the craving - but it does give us the power to stop letting the craving run the show. 💫
